Pepe reviews 'The Philosopher Fish'

For the Food and Foodways Journal, Pepe reviewed 'The Philosopher Fish: Sturgeon, Caviar, and the Geography of Desire by Richard Adams Carey.' She read and wrote about the sturgeon—a living fossil—which feels only a short swim away from extinction because of human appetites for their pearly eggs here.
