Sasha gives a lecture at MAC in San Juan
In dialogue with its exhibition Trópico Agridulce at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico, Sasha was invited by its curator Alexandra Méndez García to give a lecture on 7 March. By sharing stories about cod’s historical and contemporary colonial entanglements and about time and temperature and salt, she previewed her most recent research in the Caribbean and was delighted to hear local Puerto Rican tales about cod's many cultural and culinary lives.
