Line Retreats Deep into Bavaria

For five days in February, Line joined the University of Augsburg’s Graduate School (GGS) for a writing retreat in Schönwag, Oberbayern. Wonderfully remote, the beautiful country house offered some respite from work and the world to focus entirely on writing. The landscape and food, of course, were also enticing. The group walked and dined together daily, and one participant’s yoga expertise was greatly appreciated. Overall, the week was productive and regenerating.
