Sasha delivers the Northrop Frye Distinguished Lecture

The Northrop Frye Centre at the University of Toronto's Victoria College invited Sasha to give its 2025–2026 Distinguished Lecture. Titled "Salt, Stories, and Other Survival Skills," she braided together tales about eating and ecology, about geology and time, and about art and environmental futures. She also officially launched her book 'Culinary Claims: Indigenous Restaurant Politics in Canada' in her hometown. A thousand thanks to all who attended.
