An Island Off of an Island

The editors at NiCHE, the Network in Canadian History & Environment, asked Sasha to share an introduction to her recently published article “Cod and its Oil, Cuisine and its Supplements: Fish Fragmentation, Commodity Connections and Naturalising Resources in Newfoundland.” In response, she wrote about the politics and potential of detours and how she had to learn to drive to travel to an island off of an island to study fish.
